Andreas (Andy) Ralph Tabor of Lakewood, Ohio, died August 9, 2026 in Westlake, Ohio after a battle with appendix cancer. He was born August 7, 1957 to Elsbeth (Fester) Tabor and Istvan Tabor in Cleveland, Ohio. Andy attended Cuyahoga Community College while also serving in the Marine Corps Reserves. He married Krisztina Szabadkai on June 7, 1980 and became the proud father of five children: Hajnal Eppley (Chris,) Csilla Barry (Nolan,) Peter Tabor (Mary Casey,) Andreas C. Tabor (Kay,) and Lexi Tabor. Throughout his career, Andy served others through many jobs in hospitality and customer service and became a part of the Multi-Million Dollar Club in his real estate career. He also proudly worked and fundraised for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (now Blood Cancer United) and served as scout troop leader to Cleveland’s Hungarian Scout Troop 14. Andy loved nature, biking, spending time with family and friends, and traveling across the world (including a trip to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.) Andy is survived by his spouse, children, four grandchildren, and siblings Thomas Tabor (Kathy) and Andrea Tabor (Susan Andrews.) He was preceded in death by parents Elsbeth and Istvan, and brother Steven M. Tabor (Bea.) A Memorial Service will take place at the Hungarian Reformed Church West Side, 15300 Puritas Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44135 on Saturday, August 29 at 11am, followed by a reception in the church hall.
